I first build up the vessels, then cut them up into smaller pieces, then reassembling it. This process reflects on the wear and tear of daily objects, highlighting their resilience and the stories they carry.








“Captivated by the notion of cracks in everyday items hinting at the passage of time and use, my work echos a fragment of history.”

Interested in the unglazed surfaces, I left this vase with intricate carvings, inviting contemplation on the transient nature of life’s journeys.




“Thinking more about ridges and the action of adding and subtracting. I start by coiling the vase, then let it dry to leather-hard. Carving with a small, curved knife, I let the shapes guide me.”
