Kiki Liu is a multidisciplinary studio artist working across multimedia including ceramics, fiber, design, and photography. She is currently based in Los Angeles, California.
Informed by a bicultural upbringing between China and the U.S., her work explores themes of belonging, impermanence, and home-making. Liu creates both functional and sculptural pieces that reflect on movement, identity, and place. She is the founder of Current State Studio, a nonprofit organization supporting community-based, socially engaged art. Her practice invites intimate reflections on personal and collective histories through material, process, and form.
