Linen, Cotton

“Engaging with natural fiber materials like linen and cotton, my aim was to uncover and leverage the distinct qualities of each.”

My aim was to weave a tapestry that exudes a captivating blend of dimensionality and geometry. This piece not only delves into the nuanced stratification of fabric layers but also intricately couples them with a minimalist representation of a singular, yet profound, concept. My artistic endeavor unites the tactile richness of natural fibers with an exploration of spatial depth and fundamental geometric forms. Additionally, I drew inspiration from the simple geometric shapes found in abstract paintings and quilts. This amalgamation offers viewers a harmonious experience that transcends the confines of traditional textile art.
